Secondary checklist

---

Menekali:

5-6 Cases of Water

Re: San Diego

A couple things.
1. We need to have a set move out time, it should be 11:00 sharp no matter what our numbers are. Anons that are late know that if we aren't at the fountain, we are outside of the CoS building. Last protest we wasted about 20 minutes waiting for Xenu, this wasn't the best thing for morale.
2. The March protest was epic win for handing out flyers, this protest was not. This was not due to lack of effort. In my opinion the March protest went very well with passing out the flyers at the stoplight at the bottom of the CoS street.
3. If the CoS places vans in front of their compound again we need to be willing to move further down the street. We can do without being right across from the building if this lets us be seen by passing cars. At Reconnect many Anons could not be seen due to being close to the CoS vans.
4. My hat goes off to blond haired police car sitting in Anon for his ability to speak so well on the mic. If anyone else wants to give this a shot try typing a speech beforehand, it makes the protest seem more credible and gets the message across.
5. Don't bash religions. It's fine to bash their practices in the CoS case. A quote from Reconnect that did not sit well with me was "A that's a little more dumb than a guy getting nailed to a piece of wood." Watch you words. Ed is a huge help to us, let's not go letting him down.

More later maybe.

make the first post a "checklist" of the most important things we need to cover before the 10th of May. That way, it's an easy reference for people checking out this thread.

For starters, whoever has successfully notified the SDPD of Anon's presence during the first two protests, plz plz work on that. If we can get like two people to do it, just to make sure it gets done. Let's get an early notification out before May. Then another like a week prior to the 10th, as a friendly reminder. Good idea?

The van, as stated in the post-game thread, will be there.

Water. If everybody brings their own personal lil bottle on top of the kind Anons who gave away free h2O, the sun will not get the best of us this time! I like the suggestion of camelbacks. Even though it's $30, you could use it for other events than CoS protests. Provided the van will be there, we could just buy huge packs of bottled water and leave them inside the van like before.

That's all I could think of right now.

Re: San Diego

We can't over stress the importance of water, i had to bale early from the last one because i was so dehydrated. it was hard to stay on my feet on my way back in to the car and i felt sick until early this afternoon.

perhaps an easy solution for the water issue: don't worry so much about bringing watter instead bring money to by big packs of bottled watter, and ice. I'm sure a couple of us have some of those big blue tailgating coolers we can bring from home (the ones with the wheals on them would be optimal). when we assemble a group of anons can be in charge of taking the coolers, and the money, and filling them with ice cold watter for us all to enjoy.

Re: San Diego

I like the checklist in the first post. Good idea.

Coming from a military background, the hardest part of any operation is logistics. That's water, food, coordinating outside support (police, media, etc), vehicles (partyvan, transportation, etc), and supplies (signs, fliers, etc).

In the military you have the wonderful bureaucracy and chain of command to keep it organized. We're working with a free for all, anarchistic democracy, and that's gonna make it even harder.

What have we got? We've got a date, and we've got a theme. I believe it's May 10th, Fair Game, and the operation name isn't picked. That's not something we decide on a local level, so no worrying about it. We need to let the cops know (already mentioned). We need to make sure there's gonna be the van (already mentioned). We need to start at 11AM sharp (already mentioned). We need to have a rough timeline or at least areas of focus so people showing up late know where to go (already mentioned).

So. Cake? What's the deal?

Water? Individuals should out of common sense bring a bottle of water or something. But it's gonna be sweat central and people are gonna get thirsty, so if we can have like Costco sized boxes of water bottles and straws...win.

Masks? What about having some spares on hand for people who might want to join in? I know I heard someone at April say "if I had a mask I'd join you right now". Just some cheap masks or something that can be handed out and no worries if they disappear.

Sound? Who supplied the sound system in April? Will it be back? Back ups in case that fails or is a no show?

Plan? I say something similar to April. Organize, march to Org, protest, move back to Horton Plaza, protest, march around Gaslamp and back to org, protest, disperse. I'd like to see some more mini raids splitting off from a main element. We may be getting no Scilon response due to our numbers. What OSA is actually gonna go out to confront 50 people? Leave 5 behind we might get something. Control of corners for fliering is really key also.

Okay, those are my thoughts, and I've had no dinner so brain is only at 75% capacity now.

QUICK SUMMARY For those too lazy to read big text block of doom.
Lets organize first what needs to be done for this protest that wasn't done at last month's. Things that happened and were a good should be checked to make sure they happen again. Let's work on getting more numbers through mini raids leading up to the big raid.

MAGIC WOG BUS RETURNS

We shall have the return of the MWB and in a bigger fashion. We shall carry equipment on it as well as supplies and extra things in it. I shall see about Kinkos about making some banners in a epic fashion.

Now then, since it seems the month ahead of us allows great planning and its all about "Fair game", please PM for the following suggestions

Banner Ideas (cenetered around fair game)
preferred Caek suggestions
the Bus as a mobile supply and possible caek consumption/safe room
Volunteer parking look outs

One idea for signs is to have all the OSA spies and PIs that had cameras and just have them printed on our picket signs.

Would anyone go for having Magic Wog Bus decked out in "Frosty Ice" banners?

I had an idea for a flag for this last time but thought better of it since it didn't really have much to do with Anonymous itself. I'm going to look into having an Anonymous flag made for this one.

another thing we need to do is come up with some chants early guys. it was funny to come up with joke chants while we were there, but it really just went to show how unprepared we were. we need to start brainstorming some catchy fucking chants.

perhaps it might be a good idea to advise anons not to wear full suits on the next one chances are these things are gonna get hotter and hotter, and we don't need people collapsing because they had to wear a suit. sure it looks cool, but a a black suit is not the smartest things to wear for jumping around on hot spring afternoon. if you must wear a jacket you should try and make sure it's very light, at the last raid my friend jokeanon's jacket was thicker then mine, which resulted in less lulz for him. i personally plan on wearing a vest to the next one.

1. Yes
2. That is very wise because my sadistic ass would probably would laugh at the people collasping, then feel guilty 3 days later. Anyway, suits aren't mandatory, so I think as the weather becomes more and more like hell, smartanons would know to dress down.....unless you're a friggen tourist. Miming is the same way. Black pants+face paint on a 99 degree day makes my balls legs sweaty and it's rather uncomfy.

More water will be needed. It should be the duty of some 5-10 Anons to bring cases of water+cooler to insert into partyvan.
