Re: San Diego

I was wondering if I could get the SDanon mailing list. The guys from LA said they wanted to do some sort of super raid (also, I want to be caught up in the loop).

the thank you card seems a bit too arts and crafty, and I'm just going to go ahead and say it. gay. giving them a big thank you card is going to seem a little weird to them, and will also probably, just give them a big useless piece of cardboard to get rid of. we're not sweet little kindergarteners they don't think we're cute, and they don't want to be our friends. those guys just want to make sure we don't break any laws, or hurt our selves or others. anyway if somone does show up with it I'll go ahead and sign it any way.

also count on one case of watter from me, and I'll also bring a couple extra signs this time too.

perhaps we could get those stencils and spraypaint's from march back for the next one.

Not a problem at all. I have enough left over fabric and spray paint. Also, Anonimagi is making a Website? Is it just for San Diego?

And as for the LA super raid, are you talking about this http://forums.enturbulation.org/12-c...ts-june-9205/?

Possibly, they just PMed me and said they wanted the E-mail for the super raid. For all I know it could just be an invite to play hungry hungry hippos...

I was the one who brought the stencils, spraypaint, and poster boards... but the last time I saw them, they were in the party van... I left empty handed. Did someone salvage them, or did they get tossed?

Not a terrible loss... I think I spent a grand total of $80 that day (including a $20 donation to the party van)... so the supplies weren't all that expensive. The stencils were like $3-6, paints were maybe $10. poster boards were probably another $10. Nothing that can't easily be replaced by a quick trip to home depot.

In terms of mailing lists - I still think the idea of a mySpace group is ideal. MySpace is big enough to defend against any DoS tactics launched by CoS. It provides a forum for post-raid pictures, in includes communications capabilities. It is CRITICAL that you use a throwaway email address when signing up, and that you don't add ANYONE you know IRL. Keep it strictly to Anons, keep ALL personal info off the page (mine says I'm from Ireland, I think) and otherwise treat it as another completely public site... however, it gives us a fall back if Enturb goes down.

Yes - I know myspace sucks... but does it really matter? It's a fake account... strictly functional. It has all the capabilities we need, and it would be an effective way to decentralize.

Think about it - if Enturb went down somehow (Tom Cruise Missile attack on the hosting facility maybe?) - where would we organize? A few of us have joined MySpace... some of us posted emails in the first thread... but for the most part, we'd be stuck.

Having our own site would be good (and I encourage it), but unless one of us sleeps on a bed of hundreds, it won't likely be robust enough to defend against even a moderate DoS, if launched by the Scienos. Our best risk mitigation would be to all create fake mySpace accounts, and start an SDAnon group. If nothing else, we'd always have a place to go.

Also - I like the idea of a formal thank-you to the police. Maybe not a big, goofy card... but a written letter to the police dept (police chief, even) commending the officers on their professionalism and flexiblity, thanking him for supporting us, etc. Letting him know that his officers are doing a good job, and we appreciate them. This should probably be a REAL letter (not an email), since that's more formal.

Very good, I agree.

I don't sleep in a bed of hundreds, however I do have multiple dedicated servers, and many security experienced buddies who wouldn't mind helping. I wouldn't mind developing a site, however I was under the impression one was already being developed for San Diego. That's the only reason I haven't already done it heh.

Re: San Diego

I think also maybe we should put a list together of who plans to bring what. Also if that who, was unable to bring that what, then they should say so before we meet, so someone else can compensate the loss.

Me:

5-6 Cases of Water
~2000+ Fliers (Providing free flier printing here: Providing Flier Printing - San Diego)
Masks (hopefully).
Signs (need ideas for them though).

The final question - if I have your multiple dedicated servers' IPs, how vulnerable are you? Are any of the servers business related? Do they trace back to you? Do the machines have contact info on them anywhere?

I'm sure you know how to CYA. The main reason I haven't gone out and registered any websites for this is because it seems too risky to me - you can't host a site without having your name attached SOMEWHERE on the chain - on the domain registration (as required by ICANN), on the web hosting provider (if you're co-located or shared), on your upstream provider (if you host yourself). Seems too risky.

Our ratio of fair-gamed Anons to safe ones has been pretty good, but that doesn't mean we should let our guard down. There are a lot of desperate people right now, with a lot of money, looking for ways to shut you up. Tamphex has had people take pictures of him inside his room.

Look at it like the soldiers in Vietnam: they didn't salute their superiors, because that just made their superiors a bigger target. In the same way, by standing out in any way, you become a bigger target.

I'm not trying to discourage you from making a site or helping... but be retardedly careful when you do. Know the risk you're taking before you take it. I'm just trying to look out for the team (you'll notice a trend in all my posts.:) )

RE: SDPD

I DID notify Joe Lehr and he failed to pass on the word. I have already let him know about May. My mistake was in not doing a followup the week of the raid. Won't happen again!

Fair Game:
I have had extensive experience with Fair Game and Scientology San Diego. Since I can't see or hear or speak much in the Xenu costume, I'm going to pass on being Xenu this time, and focus on speaking out.

Weather:
The local media has cutesy names for spring and summer weather.
May Gray.
June Gloom.

Let's hope the weather lives up to the name so the snappy black suits can be used. Y'all just look so very sharp in them!

And finally, here are some talking points from the ass of the old dead fraud his own self about Fair Game for those who are flier designers:

HCO PL 18 Oct 1967, "Penalties for lower conditions"

"ENEMY SP Order. Fair game. May be deprived of property or injured by
any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the
Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed."

This order was cancelled three times.

In HCO PL 21 July 1968, "Penalties for lower conditions", the above
paragraph is
"ENEMY - Suppressive Person order. May not be communicated with by
anyone except an Ethics Officer, Master at Arms, a Hearing Officer or
a Board or Committee. May be restrained or imprisoned. May not be
protected by any rules or laws of the group he sought to injure as he
sought to destroy or bar fair practices for others. May not be trained
or processed or admitted to any org."

HCO PL 21 October 1968, "Cancellation of Fair Game" says:
The practice of declaring people FAIR GAME will cease. FAIR GAME may
not appear on any Ethics Order. It causes bad public relations.
This P/L does not cancel any policy on the treatment or handling of an
SP.

HCO PL 6 October 1970, "Ethics penalties" again cancels HCO PL 18 Oct
67.
________

OBS this!: 'This P/L does not cancel any policy on the treatment or
handling of an SP.'

Regarding the SDPD April 10, I just heard back. Here's the word:

"Well the patrol command staff was aware of the event. I personally
talked to the area Lieutenant and they were not too worried about the
demo. I'll make sure we have better communications on our side. A
three day reminder would be great."

3 Day reminder it is!

I myself will again be wearing my suit next month. I was sweating a lot, but really had no problems other than that (pounding water helped). I also intend on buying 3 large flags and 20 small flags (if someone wants to donate, I'll get more small flags). The large flags will be 4'x6' and the small flags will be 8"x12".

Another note: Would anyone be willing (in addition to me) enforce the idea that WBM talked about in his speech: Parking vehicles on the street early, and keeping the meters paid, to make it so the scifags can't put the uhauls and party van there next month?

Its a good idea, but there are some holes:

1. parking our vehicles there risks namefagging. We'd have to rent our own u-haul pickup trucks to park there, and uhaul rents by the hour. Also, there's a 2-hour time limit on meters.
(as a side note... if we spend more than 2 hours there, the meter will definitely expire.. at which point we could simply notify the PD).
2. If you think about it - the majority of our damage to Scientology comes from our work at Horton and in the gas lamp. It's probably not worth the time, effort, and risk to grab those parking spots for the small time that we'll be there.

3. Even if they line that side of the street with vans next time, their building spans both sides of the block. All we'd need to do is go down to 3rd street. Sure, we wouldn't be at their front entrance, but we'd still be around... and we could still parade out in front of there. If they line that side, we can stand along A street.

4. If they surround their entire block with vans... well that's pretty much a win on our part, because those vans aren't cheap. I doubt the SD church has the funding to do all that (thus the half-assed attempt they made this year).

Finally - what's to prevent us from standing at the corners (where cars can't legally park), and then putting banners out on the street-side of the U-Hauls? 2 coffee cans full of plaster with some PVC in them makes a damn good stand for a big banner... and I know we have at least 2 big banners.

Let me Ascii diagram (I hope this works):
Code:
                           | |
--------------------------- --------------

--------------------------- --------------
                   X X X | [T]|X X X
                     X X | B[R]| X X
                           | 4 B[u]|
_______________ | t B[C]|
               | | h B[K]|
               | | [S]|
  COS Church | | s B[ ]|
               | | t B[ ]|
               | | r B[p]|
               | | e B[a]|
--------------- | e [r]|
                           | t B[k]|
                           | B[e]| B = banner
                           | B[d]| X = Anon group
                           | B[ ]|
                           | [h]|
                           | [e]|
                    x x | [r]| x x
                   x x x | [e]|x x x
--------------------------- ------
                         A street

--------------------------- ------
Thus, people will see us on the corners, and see our banners on the street. This should counteract any problems with the trucks, while not letting them snap pics of our license plates.
