so, someone made a thread about how some of the smaller cities and some of the cities who don't get as much recognition as the places with bigger orgs are being slighted. i happen to think ya'll should get more recognition.

i want to thank you for organizing the protests in your city. i know that it must be much harder to show up with very few people and protest.

every Anonymous protest is important. every anon who protests is vital. every anon who cannot make it to the protests, but who helps in other ways is vital. there is not one of us who is not an integral part of this movement.

so, thank you very much for having your protests!

Lausanne is not Clearwater and we don't need to face thousands of scientologists.

So far, we had 5 or 6 paying us a visit at our protests, and IMHO, it is more than enough !

Go Clearwater ! You are really on the front line !

ok finally i have no surgery coming, so i'll definitely be there with 4-5 friends or more.

Ann you told me you had fawkes' masks you could distribute, so if you can bring a few...(sure we'll pay for your expenses don't worry)

BTW...has the Lausanne "church" moved from La Madeleine? Because i passed there 2 days ago and there was no sign anymore whatsoever...

I have a few masks, but no GF's ones. I will try to get some more. Try to find some for yourself.

Lieu et horaire: Place St-Laurent, samedi 10 mai, 11:00-15:00 / Location and timing: Place Saint-Laurent, Saturday May 10th, 11:00-15:00.

La manifestation a été autorisée par la police le 29 avril 2008 / The protest has been authorized by the police on April 29th 2008.

Les directives de la police sont les suivantes : / The directives of the police force are as follows :
1. Pas d’incitation à la haine ou à la violence / No incentive with the hatred or the violence
2. Respect des ordres de la police / Respect of the orders of police force
3. Distribution du tract (format A5) qu’aux personnes intéressées / Distribution of the flyer (A5 format) only to the interested people
4. Pas d’obstruction des passants / No obstruction of passers-by
5. Prévention du littering (papiers par terre) / Prevention of littering (papers on the ground)
6. Pas d’affichage sauvage / No wild posting

Pratiquement je vous propose ce qui suit : / Practically I propose what follows:
a. Accès : le plus simple est d’arriver sur place en bus à l’arrêt Bel-Air (à gauche sur la carte); depuis la gare, vous pouvez prendre les lignes 1 et 5. / Access: simplest is to arrive on the spot with the bus at the Bel-Air stop (on the left on the chart); from the station, you can take lines 1 and 5.
b. Tenue : l’usage d’un masque intégral est conseillé (nous pouvons en fournir quelques-uns) ; le port d’un costume serait un bonus. / Dressing code: the use of an integral mask is recommanded (we can supply some) ; wearing a costume is a bonus.
d. Pancarte : afin de ne pas encombrer les mains, nous fournissons des pancartes à suspendre au cou / Sign: in order not to encumber the hands, we provide you with signs to wear on your chest.
e. Flyers : nous fournissions les flyers ; Flyers : we provide you with them.
f. Images : prière d’apporter vos caméras et appareils photographiques digitaux, voire vos téléphones portables avec ces fonctions. / Images: please bring your digital cameras or your cell phones with these functions.
g. Identité : prière d’amener une pièce d’identité. / Identity: please bring an ID card.


Prière d’informer vos amis et vos proches, ainsi que les médias si vous en avez la possibilité. / Please inform your friends and your close relations, as well as the media if you have the possibility to do so.
