Didn't catch your reply before. Perhaps this is just the photographer in me, but crossing the street changes the perspective at which I'm shooting, requiring me to switch to my 50mm lens or to zoom to 40mm, which doesn't look nearly as impressive or intimidating as using 17mm up close from an angle. Straight-on shots are fine to give an impression of the size, but shooting from one side to the other is better IMO.

Pretty sure that's been posted already.

Flyer suggestion - keep it at one page, but have one side with general info on Co$ & Anonymous, and the other side with event-specific information. We can reuse the general info side and just come up with a new event-specific side each time. Does that sound like a good compromise?

I know some people wanted to dress up as civil protection. (and with the new video game theme it couldn't be more delicious)

Anyway, the masks in the game were based on a obscure Russian gas mask that I managed to find someone selling on ebay for cheap :10bux:





I already bought one myself. Still need to get the jack boots (rubber boots?), grey pants and vest. Might get a Mp3 player with speakers to play random lines from the game.

If anyone is interesting in doing this in Toronto PM and we can get together so our suits match

Understand that the costume wont be "cheap" and we'll have to jump on it soon if we want to save money by getting shit from china.

I speculate it was because the coppers had no clue as to how many of us were going to show up so they had to bring in the reinforcements. I think by taking the lane away, the coppers have shown us that they know we can in fact be trusted, and that they silently support us. Which is FREAKIN' SWEET.

In regards to flyers etc. Flyers are awesome! The only problem is, the majority of people don't even bother to read them. We need to find a way to get this information to the non reading folk. WHAT IF! We gave them links to good youtube videos. Start them off with the Tom Cruise comes out of the closet b/c hey! it's funny, and will pique interest... then have links further down for more vids that go more into depth... Once we have piqued peoples interests like that, being the currious creatures that they are, they will further conduct their own research, mush like we have....

Maybe.. ppl could bring lappytops to show passers by some videos???

Maybe if someone who is both brave and generous could bring a table with a big screen TV on it and play scientology movies on it. There are pro-anons in the neighbourhood that I am sure would lend a power strip.

Some of us have been discussing having major regional protests on June 21st. These wouldn't interfere with the regularly scheduled monthly protests, they would just be some major cities that could attract anons from surrounding areas to make them bigger than normal and hopefully garner more media attention.

Toronto is one of those cities (along with Clearwater, LA, DC, NY, Chicago, Austin, Vancouver, London and Sydney). Are Toronto Anons up for this? I know I sure am.

Isn't there discussion about actually having june be the "month of rest" to give everyone a break from protesting so that the july is much stronger of a hit?

Personally I am not going to go to any june protest because I am on vacation.

There is WAY WAY WAY too much going on in Toronto to make june a month of rest...
