This game is going to suck. Beth already ruined it by announcing it and showing screens. It's not worth buying so I'll get it for free, play it, hate it, and wait for the Fallout community to do their duty and remake it the way it ought to be using the oldskool F2 editor. Isometric. Turn based. Gripping plot. Memorable dog NPC. And of course drugs, guns, hookers, and groin shots. And hookers.

Bollocks. In the past 24 hours, I've re-played portions of fallout 1&2, and comparing games of ten years ago with those of today is comparing apples and oranges.

The people who are whining about the loss of the outdated sprite graphics and isometric, top-down views that hallmarked Fallouts 1&2 are like those faggots who complain that adventure games lost their flavor, when graphic RPGs wiped text adventures out (ZOMG- Zork was the BOMB, MAAAAANNNN!)

Folks- I'm pushing middle age. I was playing Ultima 1 on an Apple 2 plus, back in '84- and lemme tell you- VINTAGE GAMES SUCK.

3d Graphics are cool- real-time combat is cool- I haven't the interest to play a goddamned game that looks 10 years old. And as much as ya'll might whine about the "great story" that Fallout 1&2 presented- go back- play it again, and report- if you tell me that the story was good- you're a fucking liar.

Yeah- Fallout 3 will be a port- so what- Oblivion was a port, and it rocked. San Andreas was a port- and it was awesome, from start to finish.

Fallout 3 will be AWESOME!
