Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Sweet baby Jesus.

It finally came out in Europe and I've been playing it since mid day of launch day. It's absolutely fantastic, the first game I've had in an age that's had me hooked in a "SORRY I CAN'T COME OUT IM ERRR, BUSY" manner. Racked up about 24 hours of playtime now.

My only real complant is that the SSE's story isn't really that polished like I expected it would, and comes across as "SHIT GOES DOWN - oh, and some Nintendo characters are knocking about somewhere", very little made sense. Though in a way, that did give it a sort of unique greatness.

I've not really found a character that takes up all my time yet, though Snake, Ike, Wolf, Pit and Link are all vying for my attention <3

So let's talk all things Brawl. Huzzah.

Why yes we did, thanks to Nintendo's lack of care for Europe and Masahiro Sakurai's constant arbitrary delays.

HOWEVER, the game is awesome and was well worth the wait. It's the best game I've bought since The Orange Box, bar perhaps Call of Duty 4 and Bioshock (yes, I am aware they are all shootan gaems).

Gisman's view of the Subspace Emissary is right though, it just seemed to spam characters every 5 minutes and try and madly fit every Nintendo world into one. Also, the Great Maze...at some points I could have thrown my Gamecube 1.5 out of my window in frustration. I still enjoyed it though. Solid Snake's entrance into the story was godly - BIG BOSS godly, and the classic solo modes and multiplayer are as vibrant and fun as its predecessors.

I just wish the WFC wasn't so shit and laggy I didn't have to button mash like a hacker on steroids to attack my opponents.

In conclusion, if you have a Wii, you owe it to yourself, your console and the king of trolls that is Sakurai to get this game.

I played it BEFORE its release date - I am just that awesome. >8D (Employee privileges help as well)

I stuck to Marth during Melee, but I am now permanently attached to Pit. :X I have a thing for angels. And being able to spam aerial attacks and long distance attacks AND direct-hit attacks. Seriously.

I haven't finished it, though. . .I'm one of those casual gamers who has a bunch of games but rarely plays/finishes them.

IT'S BECAUSE I LIVE ON THE INTERNETS. SRSLY.

No, really, I'm not kidding. XD I have every next gen console/handheld except for the PS3, and yet I never play them, because I spend all my time on the computer.

I just got through normal a few hours earlier. I have to say, the bosses are the only part of the game that I had problems with. I don't personally have any precise tips for you, go to Video Game Cheats - Video Game Reviews - Video Game Codes - Video Game Web Site - GameFAQs for that, but just use a character you're familiar with and take your time. Fox was my choice, it worked well.

Boss Battles are primarily easy as fuck.

Except Tabuu, which is full of rape and rage. Im just not that incredible at perfectly timing dodging as to avoid four instant death waves in a row.

Im a fan of Ike, Toon Link, and ROB. Ike for power, Toon Link for speed, ROB because hes a bit different and I can do some fun unexpected things that surprise people online or who havent played with me.
